Lol...6 Young Burundians, Who Were In The US To Compete In The International Robotics Competition, Have Gone Missing (Photo)

A team of six teenagers from Burundi who represented the East African country at the FIRST Global Challenge robotics competition in Washington, D.C, have gone missing, the local police say. According to authorities in Washington, D.C, the Burundi team were reported missing at about 5 p.m. Tuesday, about the time the competition at Constitution Hall wrapped up. The team's mentor said they disappeared after the competition, but he doesn't know where they went. Police reports say investigators tried to contact one missing teen's uncle but got no response. The reports state police canvassed DAR Constitution Hall, where the competition was held. The mentor said the teenagers have one-year visas, according to police reports. The teens range in age from 16 to 18 and include four males and two females. The D.C. Police Department identified them on Twitter as: Audrey Mwamikazi, 17; Aristide Irambona, 18; Kevin Sabumukiza, 17; Don Ingabire, 16; Nice Munezero, 17; and Richard Irakoze, 18.
